Book 2–4 weeks ahead (4+ for setups). Packages start at $400 for one hour of photography. You get a sneak peek within 24 hours and your full gallery in 48–72 hours. A 50% retainer ($400 max) holds your date, and severe weather is rescheduled at no charge.
Before booking a proposal photographer, almost everyone asks the same questions. Here are the ones I get most — answered honestly.
How far in advance should I book?
For proposal photography, 2–4 weeks is usually enough. Setup packages (The Proposal Package, The Luxury Proposal, The Grand Proposal) need at least 4 weeks so we can coordinate florals, vendors and logistics. Spring weekends in Orlando are peak proposal season — if you have a date in mind, don’t wait.
What if my partner figures it out?
It happens, and the photos are just as beautiful. The joy is the same whether it’s a complete surprise or a half-known secret. I’ve photographed proposals where the partner definitely knew — and the tears and laughter were every bit as real.
Do you stay hidden the whole time?
During the proposal itself, yes. I use a telephoto lens (70–200mm) from 50–100 feet away, so I’m effectively invisible during the key moment. Once the “yes” happens, I come in closer for portraits of the two of you with the ring.

What happens if the weather is bad?
For severe weather, we reschedule at no charge. Light rain can actually make beautiful, moody photos — we’ll decide together based on conditions. More in our rainy-season guide.
How do I get my photos?
You’ll get a private online gallery link by email: a sneak peek within 24 hours and the full edited gallery within 48–72 hours. Full-resolution downloads are included at no extra charge, and the gallery stays active for a year so you can share it with family. Videos arrive in 5–7 business days (7–10 for The Grand Proposal film).
What’s the difference between the packages?
- The Moment — $400. 1 hour, full edited gallery. Perfect for intimate proposals.
- The Story — $675. 1 hour, full gallery + a 1–3 minute cinematic video with a song you choose.
- The Experience — $975. 90 minutes, full gallery, a 90-second to 4-minute video, champagne toast setup and a bridal bouquet.
- The Proposal Package — $1,497. Photographer + videographer, a 1–2 minute proposal video, and a romantic setup (petals, lantern candles, custom sign).
- The Luxury Proposal — $1,747. A 2–3 minute video with your song, full floral arch, rose petal pathway, champagne toast and bridal bouquet. Our most requested setup.
- The Grand Proposal — $2,500. Two photographers + videographer, a 3–5 minute film and a social reel, a live musician (violin, cello, saxophone or acoustic guitar), drone footage where permitted, an heirloom print box and a same-day sneak peek.
Orlando-area prices; farther cities add a flat travel fee. See the full pricing breakdown and travel fees.
Can you do engagement sessions too?
Yes — and I love them just as much. Engagement sessions ($400) are relaxed: you both know about it, and we have time to move between spots. Many couples do their proposal with us and come back for a separate engagement shoot. Together, the photos tell a two-chapter story.
Can you photograph our proposal at Disney?
Not on Disney property. Disney stepped up enforcement against outside photographers in 2026. Here are your best options.
